Introducing the new Toyota Aygo X trough a 100% European made docutainment.

Challenge

Rebellion assisted Toyota Motor Europe in its worldwide launch of the new Toyota Aygo X and organized its “World Premiere Reveal”. For the event, the agency invited the famous designer and architect Piers Taylor (Netflix, BBC). Fascinated by urban planning and the way it helps improve our urban travel, he invited us to accompany him on a tour of Europe. In this way, the agency highlighted the cities that inspired the car’s creation : Berlin, Copenhague, Brussels, and Rome.

Idea

Rebellion created a platform where you can follow his adventures, discover his point of view, and take part in his meetings with various local personalities as well as Toyota’s experts in design, product marketing, engineering and even Andrea Carlucci, Vice President – Product Strategy & Marketing of Toyota Motor Europe.
What was the objective ? To show that the Toyota Aygo X is the solution to all of our current problems, be it through its design, its versatility, or its elevated driving position.
On the big day, journalists from all over Europe were invited to visit a digital platform dedicated to the event. They had the opportunity to preview the film in 3 episodes and then take part in a Live Q&A with Piers Taylor and 3 Toyota experts.
